Obama Trip Could Push Rock-Star Persona to New Heights

Barack Obama’s advisers insist his coming trip abroad is not a campaign swing. Even so, the high-profile journey has all the trappings of a rock-star tour. ( Obama Trip Could Push Rock-Star Persona to New Heights )

The Illinois senator’s trip to Europe and the Middle East has generated so much interest that all three TV network news anchors are planning to accompany the candidate.

(I hope the people of America will embrace an idea the world seems numb to, we as a nation aren't voting for a rock star but for a  President who lead our nation for the next four years and perhaps 8 years.)

Obama says kids won't be doing any more interviews

Don't expect to see more of Barack Obama's young daughters on television any time soon.

The Democratic presidential candidate and his wife, Michelle, allowed the cable show "Access Hollywood" to interview their daughters, Malia and Sasha.

The Obamas had been keeping Malia and 7-year-old Sasha out of the media spotlight.

"It was an exception, it was Malia's birthday, we were in Montana, everybody was having a good time," he told "Good Morning America" on ABC. "I think we got carried away a little bit. Generally what makes them so charming is the fact that they're not spending a lot of time worrying about TV cameras or politics and we want to keep it that way."

(Good for Obama for saying his kids won't  be interviewed anymore. However how come he is so shocked by  how the media  acted. This was the daughter of the man who could lead the most powerful nation in the world. However lets leave the kids out of it. Read more of this story right here.)
