Warren Buffett lingers on some lists as a possible Treasury Secretary for President-elect Barack Obama, but others are mentioned more often.
Buffett supported Obama during the campaign and advises him on economic issues. On Friday, Buffett took part by telephone in a meeting Obama called with a 17-member "transition economic advisory board" in Chicago.
(As I have posted before I would not be happy with Buffett being named Treasury Secretary . He is a higher tax man but no matter who is named I believe Obama will raise taxes, so start preparing yourself for that now. If you want read more about Buffett go here.)
