Commentator Cal Thomas said in a radio commentary he had a problem when President Bush first brought up how government could help faith based programs and he still has problems now that Obama wants to add more to it.
The problem as Cal sees it, is too often faith based ministries will start trusting in government instead of God and then to keep getting help from Uncle Sam they will compromise their main message. If you like listen to the whole commentary right here.
Cal is right they should depend on God and should never back down from what they believe.
