George Carlin, who died of heart failure Sunday at 71, leaves behind not only a series of memorable routines, but a legal legacy: His most celebrated monologue, a frantic, informed riff on those infamous seven words, led to a Supreme Court decision on broadcasting offensive language.
(It is sad when anyone dies. However this should remind all of us that some- day we all will have to face the one who made us and He will ask us if we have responded to His plan of Salvation made possible by His son Jesus. This news should also remind us we are impacting others in this world for good things or bad things. Read more of the above story George Carlin mourned.)
