Haleigh Poutre, soon will be 13. So what you may think. Well her making it to 13 is an answer to prayer, and justice being done in this world.
You see a year ago, the doctors said that Haleigh Poutre was "virtually brain dead." They thought there was no hope of recovery.There was no state orders to remove the pretten's feeding tube and ventilator.
Thank God she didn't have Terri Schiavo's - husband going to court to demand she be murdered (murder- my words).

Haleigh was put into this condition after being burned and nearly beaten to death by her stepfather.There seemed to be little hope as even most family members gave up on her. But, then, something amazing happened. Haleigh started to breath on her own. A state agency has tried to keep improvements silent, but Haleigh’s grandmother reports that she can now write part of her name, eat scrambled eggs, and flex a muscle when she’s told she is strong. She is is very much alive!
